  KPA-11M System: P/N 1119909
The basic Kinetic Phosphorescence Analyzer is a bench-top instrument that rapidly performs single-measurement, quench-corrected highly specific analyses. The 1-2 ml sample is placed in a quartz cuvette. Operated with a personal computer, KPA offers extensive time resolution and luminescence lifetime capabilities for additional specificity. Interferences are thereby avoided while obtaining precise and sensitive measurements down to 0.01 µg/L. Data is stored in Access database.

features

  • Low detection limits
  • Ease of sample prep
  • Lower analytical costs
  • Precise and reproducible results

  KPA-11T System P/N 1119919
The basic Kinetic phosphorescence analyzer with tunable dye module allows for selection of a specific wavelength for excitation. This method is recommended when the KPA will be used to detect more than one element. The KPA can be used to determine U, Tb, Eu, Sm, Dy, and Tm.

features

  • Low detection limits
  • Ease in detection of various elements
  • Selection of excitation wavelength

KPA-11A System: P/N 1119929
The Kinetic Phosphorescence Analyzer includes the Gilson Model 223 Sample changer (which allows continuous operation for 42 to 108 samples depending on rack configuration), the Gilson Model 402 Dilutor, KPA application software, tubing kit, and one flow-through cell.

The Automatic KPA can analyze up to 108 samples. The system automatically mixes the sample with enhancing reagent before each measurement and injects the sample in scintillation vials using an automatic sample changer. Cell flushing and decontamination are fully automatic with a sample-to-sample decontamination of about 1000. Fast measurements of hundreds of samples a day can be accomplished with reduced time demand on operator.

features

  • Automatic mix of sample and enhancing reagent
  • Automatic cell flushing and decontamination
  • Reduced operator time
  • Greater accuracy in analysis
  • Reduced contamination of sample cells

  KPA-11R System P/N 1119939
The Kinetic Phosphorescence Analyzer with Remote sample
compartment assembly is used in hostile environments. The remote sample chamber is compact (11 cm high, 23.2 cm wide, 20 cm deep) for use in a glove box with the main KPA stationed outside. The chamber is connected to the KPA through a fiber optic cable. It can be placed up to 3 meters from the KPA electronics. The KPA software supports the use of an optional Bar Code Reader Pen for data entry and computer operation.

Features

  • Space saving remote chamber for use in fume hoods
  • Remote chamber can be located 3 M from the KPA outside of the fume hood.
  • Ease of operation
  • Enhances operator safety
  • Reduces hostile exposure to the instrument electronics
